What is Wharphy?

Wharphy is a same-day delivery service for floral shops.

What are your hours of operation?

We operate between 10 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Saturday.

How long has Wharphy been in business?

We launched in the Dallas market in March of 2014 when our name was spelled Wharfie. 

We have been operating in the Phoenix area since July of 2023. 

As a side note, our name, Wharphy, derives from the Australian and New Zealand term, Wharfie, for a wharf laborer or stevedore.

How is Wharphy Different from other delivery apps like DoorDash, Dropoff, and Uber Eats?

We save floral shops money by batching deliveries from several shops

into one dense delivery route in climate-controlled vehicles

We charge a flat rate and don’t confuse you with a hard-to-understand math problem consisting of numerous fees, as our competitors do. 

How do I benefit from using Wharphy? 

First, you will immediately increase your profit margin per delivery by $5-$15. 

Second, you will regain 1-2 hours of arrangement-making and stop losing out on walk-in traffic, potentially worth $130-$300 a day. 

Lastly, your shop will be represented by professional delivery drivers who will interact with your customers in a respectful, communicative, and pleasant manner. 

Do you charge by the mile, flat rate, or a combination of both?

We charge by the mile. Our current fee is $1.32 a mile.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No, we invoice for service provided from Monday through Saturday on the next Monday morning, payable immediately.

Do you pickup at a certain time say 9:15 AM?

No, You can choose a specific delivery hour from 8 AM until 4 PM. For example, if you choose the 8 AM hour you can expect we will arrive between 8 AM and 8:59 AM. No need to reach out to see if we can arrive at 8:30 AM.

Do you drop off at a specific time, say 2:30 PM?

No, but we guarantee we will deliver your arrangement within 2 hours and 15 minutes of leaving your shop. For example, if we leave your shop at 8:30 AM, your delivery will arrive at its destination by 10:45 AM. Maybe earlier, but not later.
